I dedicated myself years ago to this approach to mastery.
Now, at my current dojo, I was informed by the dojo director that six months is enough to perform and recruit like a brown belt (one under black).
You see, I asked how I was doing because I was never told so.
This disciple is looking for a new dojo and a new direction in his martial art.
